Onteis was born from the need for a better identification of organisms in view to produce models. Their particular temporality provides access to mathematical expression but also traces its limits. The encounter with a mathematical and biological academic development has shown that the identification of organisms requires a continual work of historical, biological, mathematical and medical questioning starting from the concepts that make this sharing of knowledge possible. Our work is to deepen the identification of organisms in order to formulate a rigorous mathematical expression and to guarantee robust models for applications that involve our knowledge, our health and our economy.
Onteis is part of the Interdisciplinary Program: “Theoretical Foundations of Biology” (ENS Paris)
